Living by It. One lesson a day…

… from Quran. Changing slowly, but surely.

Lesson 6 – Excuses, Excuses February 12, 2010

“They will say: “Our Rabb! Due to (our stubbornness) our wretchedness had the better of us, and in fact we were a  nation gone astray”.”

Surah Al-Mu’menoon (Surah 23), verse 106

————————————————–

This makes me hopeless… because I flipped through different lines until I reached this one. The different lines had striking similarities; they were about how getting up in the middle of the night to pray and praise The One purifies the soul, makes you pleasant and brings you closer to Allah.

I guess the difficult part of my journey has really begun.
